Now better tasting!

The following is an incredibly addictive and entertaining meme concerning randomization, customization, and innovation!

1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result as a comment in this post. Also, pass it along in your own journal because it's more amusing that way.

My albums:

I Was Too Famous by Intelligence Services of the Philippines

Because It Isn't There by Casual Theory of Reference

One Graveyard to Another by We (Kana)

A Playmate with God by Skewb

Behold, my Gimp skills. Kinda wish I had cheated and switched Skewb's cover with We (Kana)'s but it wouldn't be half as interesting otherwise. I like the fact that Intelligence Services of the Philippines features Daniel Keller of Interpol. I can see Intelligence being Interpol wannabes but with more "art" and screaming (see: The Liars). Casual Theory of Reference would be worshippers of all things early-Linkin Park and Evanescence, with a little bit of Powerman 5000 thrown in to the mix. We (Kana) would sound like what would happen if Colin Meloy of The Decemberists had a less dramatic brother who listened to a lot of Ben Folds/Belle & Sebastian and decided to make a band with his high school buddies. And Skewb? Well, they think they're the Raveonettes.

I think these could be real album covers, what do you think?
